Antioch, CA's Spark A Flame Candle Co. was born when two determined women rallied to support a family member battling Multiple Sclerosis (MS). Gionna Miles, a four-year MS warrior, endured a severe episode in May 2022, rendering her unable to walk or speak. Her sister, Val Wiley, and niece, Ke'Noah Wiley, stood by her, ensuring she had her candle-making gear to reignite her passion for health. Out of this shared dedication, Spark A Flame Candle Co. emerged. This venture, fueled by the resilience of a candle-maker with MS, a business-savvy candle enthusiast, and a budding artist, now offers an inspiring range of candles. Hi I’m Val! Motivated by the highs and lows in life, I spend a lot of my time building this business. In my free time, I do all the things that bring me joy (fine dining, trying new cocktails, listening to music, watching chick flicks, movies and shows, and hanging out with family and friends. In my new passion for candle making, I’m the Business Manager/Marketing Brand Strategist. I make sure we run a smooth and tight ship! I hope our candle scents calm and soothe your mood as much as they do mine!

Heyyy, I’m Ke’Noah but you can call me Ke’No (key-no). I’m adventurous, goofy, and unique (hence, my middle name). When I’m not making candles, I enjoy watching movies and shows, listening to music, cooking, painting, mastering escape rooms, playing board games, and most of all traveling! I hope to one day travel to NYC, Canada, Egypt, and Barcelona! In this business I’m considered the Color Chemist. I’m responsible for all the color combinations.
